How to get better
A simple decryption strategy that wins more often
Start with a word that uses common letters and avoids repeats. Your first attempt is about information: you want to discover which letters are in the word and which are not.
When a letter turns green, treat it as locked and build around it. If a letter turns orange, keep it but move it—use it to test positions methodically.
Fewer random guesses
Every attempt should test a hypothesis.
Lock + rotate
Keep greens fixed, rotate everything else.
Watch duplicates
Orange can mean “present”, not “twice”.
