Set up your drawing game

Choose your teams, a word category, and a time limit.

How to play

  • • One person draws while their team guesses.
  • • Strict radio silence (no talking) from the drawer.
  • • Gestures and alphanumeric symbols are prohibited.
  • • Successful interception awards +1 point and +10 XP.

Before you start

One person draws while their team guesses. Keep the secret word out of sight, agree on any drawing rules, and pass the device when the turn ends.

Set up a friendly game of Sketch and Guess

Sketch and Guess is a team drawing activity. Use the screen to reveal a secret word and keep time; the drawing itself can happen on paper or on a whiteboard. One person sees the word and sketches it while their teammates guess. Keep the answer screen out of the guessing team's sight.

Agree on the drawing rules

Decide whether letters, numbers, gestures, and spoken hints are allowed before the first turn. A simple starting rule is pictures only, with no spelling out the answer. Choose a word category that both teams know and a time limit that suits the group. The setup screen lets you name the teams and choose the category and timer.

Keep the handover clear

When a turn ends, mark whether the word was guessed and pass the device to the next drawer. Give everyone a chance to draw. If a word is unfamiliar or a drawing causes a disagreement, agree on how to handle it together and use the same rule for both teams.
