Place events into the correct year. Complete the timeline to earn XP.
History Timeline asks you to match historical events to dated positions. Select an event from the list, then select the slot where you think it belongs. Easy rounds contain six events, medium rounds eight, and hard rounds ten. You can take your time: the elapsed-time display is a record of the round, not a countdown that ends your attempt.
Look at the earliest and latest dates before placing a card. An event you know well can anchor the rest of the timeline. Then think in relative order: did an invention appear before a familiar political event, or after it? If two positions share the same year, either event from that year fits either position. The game does not require an arbitrary order within a single year.
Each event can occupy only one slot. Use the remove button on a placed card to return it to the list, or select another event for that position. Cards and empty slots can also be focused and activated with the keyboard. Place every event before choosing Verify Timeline. The feedback marks correct and incorrect placements so you can reconsider the mismatches.
A fully solved easy round starts at 300 XP, medium at 500, and hard at 800. Each additional verification reduces that reward by 50 XP, with a minimum of 50. Repeatedly pressing Verify after a solved round does not create extra completions or XP. The result displays the number of checks and the elapsed time; your shared profile records one finished puzzle.
